Mold Remediation
Mold remediation for residential and commercial buildings.
With everything we do, we provide reliable and detail oriented work, emphasizing that the job is done right the first time.
Our Strategy
Our remediation strategy is broken down into steps, tailored for the individual job.
Prep: Mold spreads quickly, especially when disturbed. We take detailed precautions to ensure that the work space is contained and that unaffected areas remain unaffected.
Remove/Remediate: When possible we advocate for complete mold removal. Killing mold is great, removing it entirely is better.
Recondition: Arguably the most important step is to eliminate the reason for the moisture intrusion in the first place. Figuring out why the mold had a chance to grow and make sure it does not come back.

DIY remediation has it’s place and absolutely can be effective. When our client's choose to go this route we do our best to provide as much informational material as possible, such as in our bulletins tab. However, mold remediation is a delicate process with a very large potential for making a mold infestation worse. On top of that, mold can cause a variety of health issues, those working on the remediation and those still in the building all risk exposure when remediation is preformed incorrectly. At a minimum, we recommend consulting with professionals before starting a DIY remediation. To answer if bleach works, check our write up on chemical types here.

Remediation plans and remediation protocols can change depending on a variety of factors, such as extent of damage, severity of mold growth, space access and budget. Specific techniques that we might use are full removal, color correcting, EPA fungicide and disinfection. We consistently use our negative air machines and dehumidifiers.
